Nissan 350z for XR

The 350z is a car replacement mod for the 3 XR model vehicles in LFS. It comes with complete support for left/right driver position, as well as compatibility with all 3 car models (XRG, XRT, XRR).

In the package you will find the following:
– the needed dds textures
– the vob file
– skin templates for the 3 car models
– default white skins for the 3 car models
– 3 additional textures for the XRT steering wheel allowing for customization
– 3 additional textures for the XRR steering wheel allowing for customization

Installation:
Just extract the rar in your LFS/data/ directory. Make sure you backup your XR.vob before doing so. It will replace it. Everything else is stand alone.

Use:
The 3 additional textures for the steering wheels allow for color customization of the wheel. As you will notice there is 4 files of each:
– 350z_steering2.dds
– 350z_steering2_blue.dds
– 350z_steering2_red.dds
– 350z_steering2_yellow.dds
The default steering2 is green. Steering2 is for XRT, steering3 is for XRR. if you want to use one of the other files simple renaim them by removing the color at the end of the name. As well as renaiming the default one.

Sources:
– the base model is from Juiced2, however it is completely overhauled and optimized for LFS
– there are some minor models taken from Forza Motorsport 3 as well (aka Wings)
– textures and body kits are made by me

Known Issues:
– the car is optimized from 300,000 polygons down to 44,000, however it might add some loading time in the menues. WIth a reasonably new PC you should be fine.
– on some of the body kits there are odd lighting spots near the bottom edges of the bumpers. No known fix is available for this issue at the time.
– when using left driver opsition the sticker on the N2O bottle in XRR interior is mirrored.
